If someone has a passport with visa-free access to Canada but not the?
Not at any border crossing I have seen - - - and I have spent a large portion life next to a major border crossing. In fact, after 9/11, border crossing became much more difficult, even for people who have lived their whole lives on the border. As a kid, I often crossed the border without identification at all, often riding my bike across the bridge. The border guards would wave me through. Nowadays, border crossing is serious business. I have a grown nephew who was questioned closely and checked for contraband before being told by the Border Patrol officer, Greet your parents for me. Even though he was known, he was suspect. When I was a kid, crossing the border illegally in a boat or canoe was no big deal. After all, one could walk across for most of its length. These days, the Border patrol really patrols and there are drones that fly over the border areas. If you can get to Canada, settle there. It is a welcoming and modern place.
