What original documents are needed to be carried when travelling to?
Hi, I already traveled to Canada, so i would like to answer this question myself as it will be helpful for new immigrants. Original documents i carried :- Passports (old and new ones) Driving license (not asked by anybody, just carried in case i apply for driving license here) Company deputation letter (or transfer letter) Printout of work permit PDF i received after I got visa Photocopies of :- forms submitted during visa filing school and college certificates and PG if applicable Country Id cards like voter card or unique Id cards TAX ID card Tax and bank statements At the airport and immigration I was mostly asked to show passport and work permit letter. Also opening canada bank account or getting sim card i was asked to show passport and original work permit or SIN document. Other documents I carried just in case if required.
