What is the process to renew a damaged passport of an Indian national?
Step 1 : Fill online passport application The print-out of the saved PDF file of online passport application, duly signed, with required documents Step 2 : Provide the documents One recent photograph - (size 2 inch x 2 inch) The damaged passport Police Report, indicating passport number/date, etc. Fees: The fee of C$258/- Duly filled and signed Annexure F. An address proof - Provincial ID/ Driver's License/ Health Card/ Electricity/ Gas bill, etc. Duly completed Declaration Form and Annexure 'E' Proof of Canadian Status (Work/Study Permit or PR Card along with Landing Paper/COPR) If the applicant is on Study Permit, recent letter from the institute confirming current enrolment along with college/school ID. Any other document establishing applicant's identity as supporting document like, PAN card, Ration card, Election ID Card etc in original with a copy (the IDs furnished should preferably be issued by Government of India or other Indian authorities like the state governments etc. The Consulate shall inform the applicant in case any additional document is required.
