I am British passport holder, I want to work in Canada, which visa?

You would have to apply to immigrate to Canada as a permanent resident. You cannot work in Canada unless you are a Canadian or a Canadian permanent resident. In relatively rare circumstances, work permits can be obtained but those are not available for desirable well paying jobs. The only scenario in which a company can receive permission to hire a temporary foreign worker is if then have undergone a labour market impact assessment, which is an expensive and time consuming process. That LMIA must prove that they have exhausted all means to find a Canadian or a Canadian permanent resident who is willing and able to do the job and that there is a shortage of people in Canada willing and able to do the job. Basically, if it is a job that anyone in Canada would want and could do, it is not available to be filled by a foreign worker.
