How long does a permanent resident have to live in Canada to get?

Should have taken less time to search than writing the question. Anyway currently it's 4 out of 6 years. Then application might take up to a year. Once current government gets new rules effective (actually restoring old ones), it would be 3 out of 5 years. Also with new rules temporary residence period of up to 2 years could be counted as half towards citizenship
