Does the President get a different passport when becoming president? ?
I cant speak for the President of the United States of America. I do know that in Canada, Members of Parliament are eligble, should they wish, to receive diplomatic passports. This tends to get them through special status lines at customs and border checkpoints of foreign countries. Practically speaking, the President of the United States doesnt go ANYWHERE where there isnt a massive entourage, weeks of Secret Service liaison work with local law enforcement, tons of limousines and a very large, very noticeable Air Force One. Quite often, he is greeted on the tarmac by the Head of State or a very high ranking government official. I very much doubt hes asked to present a passport to confirm his identity.
