Do I require a transit visa if I am traveling from Canada to India?
If you are transferring at the airport i.e. changing flight then the answer is no you dont need transit visa. For example lets assume you are flying from New Delhi . At Delhi your luggage would be throu checked in to Toronto and you will get your boarding pass for both flights i.e. New Delhi to Amsterdam and Amsterdam to Toronto. Once you land in Amsterdam just check the flight board for your onward flight walk to that gate and board the 2nd flight as per the timings. Only if you want to go outside the terminal or take any schengen flight you would require visa. Hope this helps
