Can I cross the US?
No. If you are a Canadian You need a valid passport, a Nexus card, or you need to be the Queen (as she technically is a living passport). If you are an American you need a valid passport, I valid enhanced driver license, or a trusted travellers card (Nexus, Fast or Sentri) A passport receipt is not a valid form of identification.
